Antique, Fabulous, and very large handcarved Bamboo Vases, brush pots, or general containers. An old handwritten note on a card found inside the vases, reads: "Talula's brother, W. O. Pinson, had these canes carved in Japan 1904." We assume that the metal bands have been added at some more recent time in an effort to stop the splitting of the canes -- the taller of the pieces shows a split in the back (pictured), and other minor splits are throughout. An extremely thin fine china cup and saucer marked CPO in a diamond on the bottom. Lovely hand painted scenic pattern of Japanese houses, a bridge over lake, and Mt. Fuji in the background. Raised relif on the cherry blossoms. Elegant gold band on the edges and accent trim. According to research this is late 1800's. Pristine condition.

This nice Thunderbird totem has the legend of the thunderbird on the bottom. Measures 13 1/4" tall and is in excellent condition. Appears to be made of redwood or another ligtweight wood. Nice colorful Nemadji Vase measures 8 1/2" tall and is in wonderful condition. Body of the vase has rings or ribs all the way up to the neck. Inside I found the original paper that came with it and the history of Nemadji pottery. Well marked on the bottom with the Chief head and Nemadji Pottery stamp. A great Native American collectible item.

This vase appears to be an older one but is not marked. It also looks similar to the rose medallion, as it is in panels of people alternating with panels of flowers, yet different than the real rose medallion. Lots of orate and detailing with oodles of gold in relief. Measures just over 8" tall. Perfect condition and no damages or repairs. Just not sure HOW old it is.

Here is a lovely vintage cloisonne bowl done in gold, purple, red, and a little pink. It has a ruffled edge and has a pedestal. Beautiful fan markings on this bowl! Measures 2 1/2 inches high and 5 1/2 inches in diameter. There are no dings or dents that I can detect.

This amazing pouch was made by Native Americans, most likely the Iroquois. The front of the pouch is made of a tan, heavy cotton material, with brown and green beads applied in a floral design. All of the beadwork is hand stitched and original. The back of the pouch is a pink satin type material. Hand stitching connects the front to the back. The pouch still contains the original papoose.
