Kris or Keris Blade from Indonesia / Southeast Asia
Ethnic
Brandywine Militaria
$303
Lovely example in wonderful condition with no damage found. Beautiful workmanship throughout. Two tone blade is extremely attractive and fits into the scabbard like a glove. The wood on handle and scabbard top is warm and healthy with a beautiful wavy grain. There are figures carved into the handle in two separate places. The ferrule has a lovely filigree style and I believe it is silver but I may be wrong. Below the top wood the scabbard is encased in soft metal with an extremely intricately ha... Click for details

Meiji Bronze from Seiya Workshop - Elephant and Tigers
Ethnic
Brandywine Militaria
$1450
Striking bronze from the Seiya Workshop or Foundry. This school was known for dynamic renderings of exotic animals and the motif of an elephant fighting tigers is a classic example. This is a lovely example with nice aged patina and the sual signs of age. Elephant has very interesting true ivory tusks. There is a repaired crack on the leg stomping on the tiger (See photos). I use a hard flash for my photography which makes flaws like this show heavily; In hand this repair is far less noticeable ... Click for details

Detailed Bone Inlay Tray - Southeast / South Asia
Ethnic
Brandywine Militaria
$97
Nicely done bone inlay tray. I would think that this is from southeast Asia. Good sized example at 47x33cm. There is a fair amount of surface wear due to age as well as missing inlay here and there. I do not repair items but I would think that the missing inlay could be filled in and of course there are always ways to fix surface wear. The wood is a mystery to me being quite dark and having a grain that looks almost like hairs. Pretty work on this piece and priced quite fairly.

Antique Indo Persian Sword
Ethnic
Brandywine Militaria
$925
Very nice Middle Eastern Indo Persian sword. Very attractive handle shows a seven petaled flower on each side. The blade is a nicely curved example with a groove most of the way on each side. The last third of the blade flairs out, becoming wider and heavier to cause more damage when striking. Right at the spot where it widens on both sides is what looks like a gold inlaid sun with rays. There is some engraving relief still visible near the handle on one side and the other shows the remnants of ... Click for details

Vintage Carved Dragon Ivory Napkin Rings Set of Eight 8
Ethnic
Brandywine Militaria
$134
Ivory napkin rings carved with a dragon motif. Very nice to find in a large set; This is a set of eight. No chips cracks or other damage. This is a fresh estate find and I never clean or "fix" anything; They could use a quick cleaning but again there is no damage. Ivory grain is not easy to photograph but the grain on these is very nice and easily visible on the lfat portions - edge and inside. Nice set priced right.
