This hand-painted Wooden Framed Mirror was made in the Central Asian region of the former Soviet Union. There is wear on the face of one figure and wear on the face and body of one horseman on the top panel. However, with the piece being a very early XX Century piece it is in remarkable condition. This mark on this Japanese octagonal Plate indicates it was made in the latter part of the 20th century. It is the Shibata To-ki or "Shibata porcelain mark". This plate features a lovely floral and butterfly decoration on the front and is nicely trimmed in gold. It measures 10 1/8" x 10 1/8" in diameter and is in excellent condition. A lovely addition for your Japanese china or plate collection.
