Vintage black souvenir plate with gold decoration from Tahiti. Shows map and cities of interest, and some picture graphics in gold. A tahitian woman is shown with one entire breast exposed, with traditional dress and flower lei's. Plate measures 5 1/2" in diameter and has been poured with a clear resin over an abalone shell border. All black velveteen backing, and is in pristine condition. I will even include a little black display stand.

It is 10" in diameter and approx 2" tall.
I believe it's woven sweetgrass.

This Indian skinning knife is a rare Cree artifact. It has a wooden handle and a hand forged blade that was probably made out of an old discarded file. An embroidered ribbon was attached to the knife to keep the tool handy as it was carried around.

Dimensions: blade 2 1/2 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, handle 3/4 inch wide, 3/4 inch deep. Overall length 5 1/4 inches. Weight 1 1/4 ounces.

A great little set of hand painted ceramic salt and pepper shakers with the old black JAPAN mark. Indian Chief and his woman. Chief is 3" tall, and they are very cute. One little cork is missing, and ther is a chip on the chief's head dress on the back. woman is perfect with her cork.

“Fito”Adolpho Sandova Tena is the husband of Emilia Mora one of the pioneers of the famous Mata Ortiz pottery. Fito's trademark pots (a style which he invented), have deeply incised, round “corrugated” matt bodies with a shiny neck.
