Celluloid Rickshaw, Driver, & Lady Passenger w/ Parasol, Very Colorful
The detailing on this old piece is exquisite, and this one has had color accenting added which adds to its detailing and brings it to life so much better. There is a red and green dragon on each fender, and on the seat back, and Mount Fuji is also on the seat back. The only thing I find wrong is the umbrella shaft may have an unintended bend near the top, and the wheels wobble side to side as they roll. There is an excess of... Click for details

Japanese Scene Shaker in Shades of Red and Green
Ethnic: Japanese
Abuzz Antiques and Collectibles
$4.00 Plus shipping
This is a shaker with a scene from Japan in shades of red, green, teal, and pink. It rather large holes in the top and the cork is inside. It is not real well done, but would make a great decorator item. It measures 2.75 inches tall and 1.75 inches across the base. The holes are large enough to be a sugar shaker, or course pepper. I do not know the age or maker, it is unmarked, although a bit of wear to the paint it is in good condition, no chips, and no cracks.
