Amazing and complete Geisha Girl condensed milk jar set. It is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. There are no identifying markings on the bottom of either piece. The plate underneath is 6 inches across. The jar is 3 1/2 iches across and altogether it is about 5 1/2 inches to the top of the handle. Intricately woven wicker rattan tray with brass handles. An antique Japanese silk painting of flowers with embroidered birds is well protected under glass. The rattan has a wonderful rich patina that can only be acquired with age. Approximately 19" including handles, without handles 17.5" long x 12" x 4.5" high. This is such a beautiful piece and unusual piece that I am thinking about keeping it (but I have a teething puppy) or raising the price to $125.

This sword stand was made by a good friend of mine who is half carpenter and half artist. The listed price is for this particular sword stand. Hand crafted of exotic wood, this stand displays a heavy Japanese influence with a frame highly suggestive of Shinto shrine arches and a hinomaru center. We are proud to offer this much sought reference book. W.M. Hawley's 1981 Japanese Swordsmiths Revised is a classic in the industry and an extremely important source of information on tens of thousands of samurai sword makers. Condition is superb with smooth binding and crisp, clean and undamaged pages. There is one depression on the upper spine that is exaggerated in the photo below. I find no other condition issues.

Small Samurai tanto in the style of an armor piercing blade. Lovely lacquer mounts as shown in photographs. Scabbard fittings appear to be silver. Tang is unsigned. Blade shows darkening but is smooth with no rust, pitting or nicks. Attractive piece priced fairly.
