Indian metal trade spear point. Recovered on the coast of New England many years ago. The spear point was found in the woods sticking in a tree that had rotted and fallen down. You can see how deep it was imbedded in the wood as the tip is lighter in color than the rest of the metal. This item was recovered in the traditional hunting grounds of the Abenaki Indians and this prized possession was lost either during a hunting expedition or possibly during a skirmish with an enemy. ... While these are lovely arrows I can not accurately date them so please consider them superb display items but not antiques. That being said, they are terrifically made. The shafts are perfectly straight. The feathers and points are both wrapped on with what looks like real sinew. The points are finely knapped and terrific examples. One has a tiny flake off of the tip which is only noticable on very close inspection (See last photo). This is really a neat pair.

This is a wonderful native American pottery miniature bowl that is marked Jemez and what looks like Mary or Margaret.
