Department 56 Dickens Village Series "Boarding & Lodging School - #43" #58106. This cottage building was introduced in 1994 and retired in 1998. The building is in excellent condition, and has the light and cord, but no box. This school with 43 as its address is similar to the 1992 limited edition that has 18 as its address. Putting the addresses together forms 1943, the year A Christmas Carol was published.

Anthropomorphic Carrot Kids Salt & Pepper shaker set. These two are posed as crawling youngsters, and are just as cute as possible. They are in beautiful condition for their age. The pepper has one very small chip on it’s left fingers, there is a small spot or two where some color may be missing on each shaker, but may have never been there, and their gold-tone-trimmed ruffled collars appear to have absolutely no chips anywhere except above the fingers on the pepper shaker. Cute white spaghetti poodle planter! Measures 4 5/8” tall (to top of poodle’s head), planer is 2 ¾” tall and opening measures 2 ¼” x 2 ¼”. There are no manufacturer’s markings but I would surmise this is a Lefton production. Planter has been used as intended and there is some interior staining that probably could be removed (with Scrub Free or something of that nature). Neat item!
