This wonderful figurine was manufactured by M.I. Hummel. Today, t is officially called "Whitsuntide", but has also been referred to as "Christmas" and as "Happy New Year". It depicts children in a clock tower playing trumpets, while an angel looks on from below. Whitsuntide was originally modeled in 1946 by master sculptor Arthur Moeller. This is the first edition 1971 Hummel Christmas plate. The 1971 Hummel Plate was issued in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of W. Goebel Porzellanfarik. The plate is called "Heavenly Angel" and depicts an angel holding a candle. There is a shooting star on one side of the angel, and 2 spruce trees on the other. Adorable little boy figurine with an arm load od firewood and his axe resting against a stump. This little guy has done a fair days work. This was most likely made in japan in the 1950's by a company like Arnart, as they did a lot of Hummel look alikes. This little guy measures 5" tall and is in perfect condition.

Excellent condition Hummel wall plaque! This is the “Baybee” plaque – a little boy somewhat startled by a bee. Plaque measures 4 ¾” diameter, back is marked 30/OA, Hummel, small bee in a “V”, M.I. Hummel, Western Germany. The marking indicates production period of 1960/72. Super collectible item!
