This is a hand carved Costa Rica Sukia figure statue that is very heavy stone. I was told it was probably white alabaster, but I do not know for sure. It measures 6.5 inches tall and 4.25 inches across the side, and 2 inches thick. The stone is completely opaque and has shades of gray and amber though the stone. It does have a repaired piece in the head, a piece is missing you can see that in the images, and the toes on the right foot are chipped partly off. It does have the Costa Rica label on ... This is a lovely vintage hand tooled rose leather walled with a snap closure. It measures 4.5 by 3.5 inches when closed. It is in really good condition with the exception that one of the metal snap pieces is missing on the inside. This piece is very clean, and looks like it was barely used.

An unusual Victorian hand carved and painted with a deep red velvet cushion pin cushion. A lovely piece of Folk Art, it is shaped like an iron and is in excellent condition showing very little wear. Measures 5" high x 6.75" long x 3" wide. Country of origin is unknown, but may be Celtic. Circa 1890.

Early hand craved and hand decorated wooden jar with a lid. A paper note inside states, "Grandma Engles Tea Jar". The wood appears to be poplar and was turned on a lathe and then craved and decorated. There's a nick on the lid. Paint is in great condition. Detail is super. Great piece.

Awesome Zimbabwe Africa Carving was presented to the missionary for a gift before she left. The missionary had spent a lot of time with this particular tribe, and this was a going away present of sorts and a token of their mutual friendships. Unusual item for me to have! This blow gun come from the Amazon and is complete with the carrier with strap that holds the long thin darts for the gun. The round ball that is atteched, holds the wadding they use to pack the darts into the gun. Original wadding and darts come with the set. Made of bamboo. This incredible scrimshaw walrus tusk is one large example. Straight from tip to tip it measures just under 23 inches and a cool 61 ounces, while what is usually found is about half that size. Condition is perfect throughout with only the age lining that is always found in older tusks. This comes from it drying over the decades/centuries and is unavoidable in older pieces. This is a lovely hand thrown pottery mug with southwestern symbols, a lizard, probably a gila monster, art glaze in natural clays and applications.
