I believe the body of the horse is made of zinc, but I'm not absolutely sure. If it was painted, most of it is gone. There are traces of red paint left on it. The horse itself measures 9.5" high X 11" wide. The directional is 23.5" long. It has 2 bullet holes and three others that look like beebee holes. None of these went through to the other side. Offered for your consideration is this fantastic find. This cute little miniature pitcher or jug measures 1 3/4" tall and 1 5/8" across from handle. It has a nice brown with hints of black glossy glaze. It is perfect no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. the bottom is marked Georgia Art and the price of 5 cents. I have found similar pieces of W.J. Gordy pottery but none this small. In my research of him I found he preferred to sell his pottery at reasonable or cheep prices. He was a very humble ... This beautiful cane is in the shape of a dog's head. I think it is a Doberman Pinscher, but it has also been suggested that it could be a Whippet, or a Greyhound. Regardless of the breed, it is an absolutely amazing piece! It has glass eyes which are amber in color. It appears to have been carved out of some type of bone. I'm not sure of the pattern name or maker. This reminds you of Ucagco's Roosters and roses pattern. The center design is of happy peasant style people with hand painted pink roses, vines and a yellow band. Decorated inside and out. Large bowl measures 10" in diameter and is 3 3/4" deep and is in perfect condition. The shelves are actually made by using wooden bowl halves attached to a piece of wood. I've had it for years and have never seen another like it. The bowls are attached with small nails and glue.
