offering these 3 hand carved figures. Each carved from a single piece of wood. The tallest is of an older women carrying a basket. The other 2 is a woman with a chicken and the other a man playing a guitar. They look German in style and do have some age. I would estimate them to date to pre 1970. The coloring is excellent. This amazing pouch was made by Native Americans, most likely the Iroquois. The front of the pouch is made of a tan, heavy cotton material, with brown and green beads applied in a floral design. All of the beadwork is hand stitched and original. The back of the pouch is a pink satin type material. Hand stitching connects the front to the back. The pouch still contains the original papoose.
