This amazing pouch was made by Native Americans, most likely the Iroquois. The front of the pouch is made of a tan, heavy cotton material, with brown and green beads applied in a floral design. All of the beadwork is hand stitched and original. The back of the pouch is a pink satin type material. Hand stitching connects the front to the back. The pouch still contains the original papoose. Great example of old folk art. Walnut head doll with solid wood body and bendable arms. This wonderfully creative hand-made doll is 6" tall. His head is a walnut with painted on eyes and mouth and glued on cotton beard. He has a fabric formed outfit and is carrying his sack of flour and walking stick. This clay whistle is called an ocarina. The Ocarina is an ancient flute like wind instrument whose origin dates back thousands of years. Children's hand painted folk art pine bench and signed by E. Dean (born 1910); originated from New Brunswick, Canada, sold to an antique dealer in Ontario, bought 35+ years ago by last owners. Bench depicts children playing tug-of-war. Measures 10.5" (20.7 cm) high, 34.5" (88 cm) long x 9.5" (24.25 cm) wide. All original paint, not retouched. Some paint loss and dents on bench.

I believe the body of the horse is made of zinc, but I'm not absolutely sure. If it was painted, most of it is gone. There are traces of red paint left on it. The horse itself measures 9.5" high X 11" wide. The directional is 23.5" long. It has 2 bullet holes and three others that look like beebee holes. None of these went through to the other side. I'm not sure of the pattern name or maker. This reminds you of Ucagco's Roosters and roses pattern. The center design is of happy peasant style people with hand painted pink roses, vines and a yellow band. Decorated inside and out. Large bowl measures 10" in diameter and is 3 3/4" deep and is in perfect condition. There are four salad bowls,two are perfect, and the other two have a stress crack to one degree or the other that are not very noticeable due to all the busy designs. I will send photo...
