This is a wonderful vintage pair of hand made folk art straw angels that were made in the 1950s by the Navajo indians of Arizona. They came from the estate of an elderly woman who used to visit an artist friend in Arizona and brought these home after one Christmas. They were always on her mantel. One praying angel is 7 inches tall and the other is 6.25 inches tall. They are in excellent condition and were treasured. A great example of an early hand painted tole silent butler. Dark green background with beautifully painted floral design in the center. There is a gold random shaped outer edge. It measures 8 1/2 inches across by 10 inches with the handle and is in excellent condition as the painted flower area is free from any worn spots. There is some minor area of the inside that has started to rust through the paint but only minor. Shipping weight would be 3 pounds.

This little fok art nativity set is so precious! Although not complete (Mary and Joseph seem to have wandered off somewhere) the three Wise Men are watching over Baby Jesus in the manger. Made of hand painted unfired clay, the figures are teeny tiny - the Wise Men measure 2 1/4" tall while Jesus is 1 3/8" long. The baby is a seperate piece from the manger.
