This lovely early Cupid and Psyche Plate milk glass plate by Westmoreland Glass. It is found on page 10 in a book titled "Milk Glass" written by by Belknap, c1949. The amount of detail on this plate is amazing and it is a "must have" for all plate collectors. This plate does not have the Westmoreland logo of WG on the back so it leads me to believe that it is one of the older plates. Westmoreland 2 piece glass fairy lamp or candle light. The lamp has a white milk glass base and a blue mist satin glass hand painted shade that has a Mary Gregory design of a boy giving a girl flowers on it. The fairy lamp stands around 7 and 3/4 inches tall and measures around 4 and 3/4 inches wide. The fairy lamp is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. Original Westmoreland sticker. I will include a votive that came with it.

The Colony Harvest molds were first used to produce beautiful snowy white, handmade milk glass items. The milk glass items were called Colony Harvest. Colony is a trademark of the Lancaster Colony Corporation. Indiana Glass produced the milk glass Harvest items but they were never sold under the Indiana Glass name.
