This glass knife was made during the 1930's. Glass knives were advertised as not discoloring when cutting acidic foods like tomatoes (Remember, knives were all carbon steel at the time and turned dark from the acids in different foods.) This knife is light blue in color and has the star pattern on the handle. 9 1/4 inches long. The blade is in very good condition - ready to be sharpened and used again.

The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 7 1/2 inch plate in topaz. This is the older style plate that used the original 1930 El Mexicano mold upon which this pattern is based. I have 14 available in topaz, price is per plate. Madrid is a depression glass pattern that was made by Federal Glass Company from 1932 to 1938. Pictured is the 11 1/2 inch console bowl in marigold iridescent. (Federal made this to go with the iridescent Normandie pattern as Normandie has no large console bowl.) Perfect condition.
