This crystal Cambridge ROSE POINT (Rosepoint) #3400/28 6" high and 7” wide Comport or Compote (Low Cheese or Candy Comport with Open Keyhole Stem) is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or scratches. Glass is crystal clear and etching is sharp. Book value is $95; picture doesn't adequately show how wide the bowl is; very nice piece. Cambridge Glass made items with the Rose Point etch from 1935-1954.

This Cambridge Rose Point etched #3900/68 5" Candleholder is the one that can be inverted to be used as a compote (comport). Excellent condition, no flaws; book value is $60. We also have a #3900/67 Candleholder listed separately, which is very similar, except the flange tapers up in the #68 and down in the #67 (see RP228). Cambridge Glass made items with the Rose Point etch from 1935-1954.

This Cambridge Rose Point etched #1321 28 oz Footed Decanter (the large #1321 decanter) has a ground stopper and is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, etc. There is one very small scratch noticeable only upon very close inspection; a tiny flea bite (nothing more) on the ground, inside mouth where the stopper fits in (from manufacturing or from putting the stopper in, I don't know which); and one of the etched medallions has a manufacturing flaw (see picture 3); the etching is not perfect,... This Cambridge Rose Point 9" #3400/59 Pickle Tray is an unusual, rarer item in perfect condition. This is the first time I've seen it; it also has the Cambridge C in a triangle, rare for Rose Point, since the mark was used only through 1935, when production first began for this pattern (I've never seen the trademark in any other Rose Point piece). This crystal Cambridge ROSE POINT (Rosepoint) #3400/38 80 oz Ball Jug is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just 1 small scratch on the inside bottom (less than ½”, only seen when you peer into the jug from the opening) and some very minimal wear on the base from sitting (almost imperceptible). Glass is crystal clear, etching is sharp and no outside wear other than the base mentioned. Cambridge Glass made items with the Rose Point etch from 1935-1954.
