This is an open salt, salt dip or salt cellar made of light green clear glass by Cambridge Glass, USA 1920-1930s in pattern number 400. The salt is an octagonal tub shape with lugged handles to hold a salt spoon with an 8 pointed star base and cut crossing lines and leaves. The salt measures 1.25 inches high by 1.75 in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and is a lovely color. Salts are also used today for tea bag holders and for sauce dishes. This Cambridge Glass Peach Blo or Dianthus (Pink) open handled Decagon bon bon or sweetmeat bowl with Band Etch #727 is in excellent condition; 6 1/4" wide (not including handles). There is a tiny burst bubble outside and another tiny intact bubble underneath the bowl, but otherwise no flaws noted. These flaws occurred in manufacturing and barely noticeable. Marked with C in a triangle (pre 1935).

This Cambridge Glass Emerald Green Light Rock Crystal engraved or wheel etched (Engraving #539) 12" Decagon rolled edge console bowl with matching Emerald Green Light flower frog is in excellent condition. See Picture 3 for a close up of the etch. There are 1-2 small scratches from the frog inside the bowl and a tiny flat chip under the rim of the frog (see Picture 4); neither flaw is significant. The flower frog is the 3.5" 13 hole #2899 Cambridge frog, embossed Pat D April 11 1916 on its side.... Click for details

This Cambridge #1263 French Dressing Bottle Etched Oil and Vinegar in Pink (called Peach Blo or Dianthus) is in terrific condition, no flaws except 2 tiny, tiny flea bites on the inside part of the ground stopper. (I see these on all the Cambridge stoppers; I think they happen as part of the grinding process when the stopper is made to fit the bottle). This piece in considered part of Cambridge Glass's Round dinnerware line, made c 1930s/1940s.

This Cambridge Glass regular sized footed sugar and creamer set in their Emerald Green Light on the Round blank (#138) is etched with Etch #732 (Majestic without the edge cuttings) and is in excellent condition (no chips, cracks, scratches). Each piece measures 3" high and 3.5" wide and is marked with the Cambridge C in a triangle (pre 1935). This etch was introduced in 1927.

This pink Cambridge 12.5" #598 service or torte plate on the Decagon blank is etched with one of Cambridge's many grape motifs and is in very good condition. There are a few light marks when held to the light, and a piece of detritus in the glass (see picture 3), common in this Cambridge color in the earlier pieces. Embossed with the C in a triangle Cambridge mark (pre 1935), although the mark might not be fully distinct to the naked eye. Cambridge Glass called their pink Peach Blo and later Dia... This Cambridge #1233 9 1/2" Footed Vase with a Heatherbloom bowl and crystal keyhole stem and base is in excellent condition; no flaws noted. Rare item and color; Cambridge Glass's Heatherbloom is a lavender neodymium color that changes to a pale blue under fluorescent light and was made only from 1931-1935.

This Cambridge Glass #3400/65 14" Chop or Torte Plate (serving platter or tray) in Willow Blue is in good, useful condition. There are 2 inner cracks or manufacturing flaws on the polished base (underneath) the plate; they don't go all the way through to the plate and can be seen in picture 3 and from the top in the other pictures.
