Beautiful crystal pair of single candleholders made by Paden City Glass in the Vale #444 or also known as Alexander pattern. These have a wheel cut pattern on the base of each. They measure 6 1/2" tall and are in pristine condition. These are often confused with Imperial's candlewick pattern, and mixes nicely. Sold as a pair.

This lovely covered candy box was produced by the Paden City Glass Co. in the 1930's. The pattern is the Bridal Wreath etch and it is produced on the Nerva blank. The lower piece of the set is very detailed with three scrolls typical of the Nerva pattern, as shown in the pictures. The bottom piece is in mint condition, however, there is some damage to the handle on the top piece, where the scroll on one side of the handle is missing. This covered candy box is a gorgeous example of etched elegant glass from the depression era! Manufactured by Paden City Glass Co. in the 1930's, this is the #411 Mrs. B blank in yellow, with the Gothic Garden etching on the lid. The candy box measures 6.5" across and 4" high. The very rare Salome Goddess etching was done by the Lotus Glass Co. with silver decoration. Lotus did not make their own glass, but purchased glass from major glass companies to be etched and decorated, and resold. I'm not certain of the production dates of this pattern, but I would "guesstimate" that it's probably from the 1920's or 30's. What a gorgeous color! This 1930's Paden City #221 Maya bowl is in the Copen Blue, which really accentuates the design of the blank.
