For your consideration we have a little-known glass blank and etched candy box set! This was produced by Paden City Glass Co. in the 1930's and 1940's but apparently in very limited amounts. The Floral Medallion etching appears on a #888 Plume glass blank, although the Encyclopedia of Paden City Glass does not list this etch for Plume candy dishes! Here is the perfect hard-to-find set to finish off your candy box collection! This set was produced by Paden City Glass Co. in the 1930's. The green candy box set has the Delilah Bird etching, also known as Peacock Reverse, on the lid. This covered candy box is a gorgeous example of etched elegant glass from the depression era! Manufactured by Paden City Glass Co. in the 1930's, this is the #411 Mrs. B blank in yellow, with the Gothic Garden etching on the lid. The candy box measures 6.5" across and 4" high. The etched lid is in mint condition. The bottom piece has several flea bites on the inner lip that can be felt but are difficult to see. All in all, a difficult piece to find in very good condition. The very rare Salome Goddess etching was done by the Lotus Glass Co. with silver decoration. Lotus did not make their own glass, but purchased glass from major glass companies to be etched and decorated, and resold. This etch is on a Paden City No. 412 Crow's Foot cloverleaf covered candy box. The set measures 7" across and 4" high. Believed to have been produced in the 30's or 40's is this stunning Paden City #220 Largo cheese & cracker. What a gorgeous color! This 1930's Paden City #221 Maya bowl is in the Copen Blue, which really accentuates the design of the blank. I'm not sure exactly sure what the particular purpose of this bowl might be but it's a great size.
