This rarely seen design looks like comets or the tail of a comet.The handles are solid balls of glass.There is a very thin line on the bottom of the inside.This is when the sugar was made and a glob of glass was cut off. The lovely etching depicted here is called Oriental Garden and was produced by Paden City, probably around the 1930's. Not seen very often, it may possibly have been created to complement the Blue Willow dinnerware which was also popular at that time.
