Vintage Elegant Glass Flower Frog Box, Pink and Gold
Glassware: Depression: Companies: Tiffin
Glass From The Past
FOB114 $80
This is a beautiful pink flower frog box with a gold rambling rose type etch, c. 1920s and 30s. It's in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, etc. and very little wear to the gilding (only wear the top rests on the bottom and a small amount on 1 foot). The lid is professionally ground and polished on one end; both flower boxes I have are like this, so I believe this was done in manufacturing to remove excess glass or to adjust the size after the top came out of the mold; the top isn't too short...
