Circle is a depression glass pattern made by Hocking in the 1930's. Pictured here is the slant sided cup in perfect condition. This shape cup uses the 6 inch plate as a saucer (no cup ring as the base is too wide.) Hocking did this with many patterns as a way to save money during difficult financial times. Rock Crystal is an early pattern made by McKee Glass Company from 1922 to 1931. Pieces tend to be heavy due to the thickness of the glass, but the clarity and sparkle make them worth the 'weight'. Offered here is 8 1/2 inch fancy Tankard pitcher in amber. This piece has 22kt gold decoration around the rim that was done by Lotus Company. Pictures do not do this pitcher justice!

In 1967 when Morgantown Glass closed, Seneca Glass Company stepped in and completed the orders left unfilled. They produced the Driftwood Casual line to replace Morgantown's crinkle pattern.
