This is a stunning epergne manufactured by the Fenton Glass Company. The pattern is called Diamond Lace. It is an ice blue in color with an opalescent finish. It was only manufactured from 1949-54. This epergne has 3 removable tulip shaped vases that fit snugly into holes in the base of the bowl. The bowl measures 10.25" in diameter and is 3.75" high. It has a double crimped edge. One of Fenton's best known patterns is their Opalescent Hobnail line. Introduced in 1939, different pieces have been produced almost continuously since then. This pair of shakers were made starting in the 1920's-70's. the glass is in excellent condition, but the inside of the metal is no longer shiny . The base is round and they stand 4.5" tall with metal lids. The glass is clear. The price for the pair is $30.00 plus postage
Beautiful blue double crimped Fenton blue hobnail opalescent glass bowl measuring 6 1/2" in diameter, 3 3/4" inches tall.
The opalescence is extremely thick and is a 6-part mold.
This particular bowl has been displayed only and in is in remarkable condition; there is no damage (chips, hairlines, flakes, etc.). circa 1940's- 1950's
