Offered here is the decanter & stopper in pink in excellent condition. The decanter stands 8 3/4 inch high, and 10 3/4 inches with the stopper in place. This is a wonderful large Hocking glass company Mayfair pattern pink depression glass bowl with open handles. The satin finish was accomplished by applying acid etching and gives it a very soft smooth feel. This piece is in very good condition for it circa 1931 to 1937 age. Most all the original hand painting is still intact. It is reversed painted under the rim so it gives it a delicate appearance on the top. This pattern is officially called "Mayfair" and was made in 1934 by Federal Glass Co. Some collectors call it Rosemary, or "Dutch Rose" because it is similar to those patterns. Most collectors use both of them together. This pattern has the "waffling" between the arches. Great condition!
