This beautiful pitcher/creamer is a wonderful example of early American pattern glass. It was made sometime between 1885 and 1890 by Bryce, Walker and Co. The pattern is called "Panelled Honeycomb". It stands just over 6 1/2" tall and is 6" at it's widest (including handle and spout). The footed base is octagonal in shape, with 4 of the 8 sections slightly shorter than the other 4. This is the emerald green Northwood open sugar bowl in the Memphis pattern. This open sugar has gold trim and is non-iridized since it pre-dates the carnival glass craze of the early 1900s. It has the Northwood "N" mark in the center of the bottom on the inside. It is in very good condition considering it is a 100 years old.
