Here is an early american pattern glass pitcher in the "utah" or twinkle star pattern that was part of the states series of glassware that was made by the u.s. glass company circa 1903.These pitchers are scarse and are really hard to find.The pitcher measures 9 3/8" tall and is 4 1/2" wide across the base.This pitcher is over 100 years old and has been well used.There are light surface scratches and a few air bubbles in the glass.No chips or cracks.

Scalloped Tape Bread Plate

Very nice Scalloped Tape pattern oval bread plate, the maker of this pattern is unknown although the pattern is c. 1880s according to Reilly and Jenks. 12 3/4" long, 9 1/4 wide and 1 3/4" high. The mold seam on this plate runs around the outer edge, there is mold roughness along this seam, a few tiny fleabites and two 1/4" chips or flakes. Not unusual on a piece this old, and it still displays nicely, but less than book price due to the slight damage. The line visible in the photo is a straw mar... Click for details

Fortuna Open Compote - 5"

The Fortuna pattern was produced by the J.B. Higbee Glass Co. from 1910-1914, and later by New Martinsville. This is a Higbee piece as evidenced by the bee mark in the bowl of the compote, which New Martinsville pieces did not have. 5" in diameter and 4 3/4" tall, this compote has no damage, although there is a 1/2" long thin ridge of mold roughness on the base of the stem.
