The handle was introduced by Corning in 1966. Using a handle made it conducive to use the casserole on the stove--as a pot or skillet. We have a variety of sizes. Please e-mail the size length width and depth of the lip that you wish to use the handle for. Price listed is for 1 handle.
This is a milk glass opal white Pyrex round baker. There is no size marking other than 22 cm. We believe that it was either in the US during the "70's push to metric or perhaps made for the European market.
This 6 cup coffee carafe is marked "Corning Heat Proof Glass". This one has the starburst design which is typical of mid-century space age products. These carafes were often give-aways with newly introduced instant coffee.
This 7 inch white Corning Ware browning skillet is marked as a browning dish--but clearly with the handle is a skillet. Browning dishes were introduced to make microwaved foods have the color of being fried or broiled.

Tempered heat resistant - milk glass type glass with some transparency. After researching - it appears that Termocrisa dinnerware glass was produced in the 1960's - early 1980's in Mexico.
