Offering this vintage sterling and black Onyx carved Ascot/Bolo from Mexico. It has a sterling setting that completely holds the onyx in a bezel setting. The back section of the sterling is marked "Sterling JO925P Mexico". This marking without the Eagle or makers numbers and mark dates this piece to prior to 1948. The 2 tips are also silver.
