His body is clear rhinestones, wings, tail and head are enameled in bright blue, green, and red. His eye is an emerald green rhinestone. This 1940's Bangle has passed every test for Bakelite. Hot water, 409 and Simichrome. I guarantee it to be Bakelite.

Aside from being beautiful it is also unique. I have dealt with 100's of pieces of Bakelite jewelry and have never seen one quite like this. It has a clasp closure the is very tight, be hard to lose. The detail is wonderful.

I have contacted the Espisito company and they have told me this set is from the early 1980's and this design has been retired. This set is marked Sterling Silver and Espisito. It is a truly amazing set! The silver wire work has so much detail. Espisito also told me they believe the stones to be Cubic Zirconium's, but they were not sure. Even if they are rhinestones they have a beautiful sparkle.

Very unusual for West German Earrings! The white is camera glare, the Earrings a pastel green with darker green glass beads. There are 8 moving dangles on each one.

There is a little discoloration on the clip-backs, normal for this age. Does not show on the front. Total length is 2 inches. No missing stones or beads.

The necklace measures 12 inches long with a spacer that allows it to go 15 inches. Notice what a pretty clasp. This Frog came from an estate in our town that has been in probate since 1964. Although this piece isn't marked I can truthfully say he is as old or older than the early 60's.
