Maybe these are cultured pearls?? Not to knowlegeable about pearls. They have a little grit feel to them, and they are knotted between each pearl. The clasp is gold tone however, and the gold is tarnished. Nice tight clasp. Closed, it measures 10". A nice vintage pearl necklace, at a good price, whether they turn out to be a good quality or not.
