This strikingly beautiful pin has a large multi-faceted aurora borealis colored stone at the center, the four cabochon stones surrounding also aurora borealis. Lovely Art deco enamel and rhinestone brooch in the shape of an Ocean Liner. This is a large brooch measuring 3-1/4" long by 3/4" wide. All rhinestones are present. The red and yellow enamel as well as the rhinestones are protected under some kind of plastic covering.

Silver metal setting of branches and leaves with a blooming carved white rose. Not sure what the rose is made of probably hard plastic or ceramic. Sterling Brooch/Pin with simulated large rectangular emerald green unfoiled prystal or rhinestone. This type of sterling jewelry was used during WW2 as a replacement for the metal used in the war effort. Except for a small scratch on the face of the stone it is in excellent condition. Beautiful condition, the tulip at the top is covered in multi-colored rhinestones in shades of amber, the center is filled with melon clored navettes, the lower part of the stem has leaves with lt. amber and a green stone. Measures 3 1/2" ht., 1 3/4' at widest part of tulip. The Hobe signage is on the back of the pin.

Open back, unfoiled aquamarine blue rhinestones are both polished and frosty finished and set in an open back setting similar to Juliana brooches. We have seen two confirmed D&E Juliana pieces using these stones in a similar, yet not as ornate design. It is most likely D & E but we have not tried to get it confirmed. Although lacking the puddling found in Juliana brooches, this summertime vintage pin could easily pass for one (or an unsigned Weiss). The domed 1 5/8" swirl pattern has two sizes of round faceted white stones and two sizes of marquis cut stones all of which are in excellent condition. The goldtone plating is also in top vintage condition as is the pin portion.
