Large marquise cut, clear swarovski crystals provide more sparkle than you've probably ever seen in a rhinestone brooch. This large, 2 3/4" x 2 1/8" signed Sherman brooch has a very worn signature but the unmistakabe Sherman plaque is present with enough indentation to detect the signature even without a loupe. Vintage Trifari 1930's clear rhinestone art deco style brooch is signed with the early KTF mark. Although not one of their clipmates, it does give that impression as the ribbon design indents through the center. All rhinestones appear original and none are dead. Although a few are cloudy, this piece is still brilliant for its years. The rhodium plating is excellent and the KTF stamp very legible on this 2" x 1 1/8" stunning piece of Trifari history.

Elsa Schiaparelli was one of the great designers of all time and this is a piece of her 1950's classic modern jewelry. Set in a gold-plated frame, the rhinestone pin has a scalloped openwork edge. The center dome raises up with sparkling white crystal rhinestones. The pin measures 1 1/2 inches across. High quality setting with secure closure. Marked SCHIAPARELLI on the back. Excellent condition. This pin is as close to fine jewelry as costume jewelry can come.

The deepest ruby red marquise cut rhinestones and chatons are prong set into a gun metal housing. There is a large black faceted crystal that is over 1/2" which provides depth to this 1 5/8" pin. There are quite a few Juliana characteristics in this piece such as open back stones, eyelets and a border of small chatons. Brunialti has highlighted this 1940 pot metal with enamel and rhinestones pin in his "A Tribute to America" book on Page 214-215. As per his description, our brooch is signed with the S in a Star (the "S" is worn away but the Star is clear). It also has "Made in USA". All stones are present but some are replacements. As there is a fair amount of enamel loss, we have discounted our price accordingly and made this a final sale. This vintage brooch is 3 1/8" (8 cm) x 1 5/8" (4.3 cm).

This is one of the largest Sherman rhinestone brooches available!! Done in autumn AB, it reflects shades of topaz, turquoise, amber and champagne. Three flowerettes form the center of the brooch with long, thin navettes extending beyond the focal point turning this into a 3" bonanza of Fall colors. After researching British patents, we found the patent number on this clip was issued in 1934. As designers were not signing most of their pieces back then, we are unsure of who manufactured this exquisite piece. Coro opened their Canadian facilities in the late 30's and since this was from a Canadian estate, it quite possibly could be theirs. Considering it is about 70 years old, and has remained in very good condition ever since, this 2 1/8" x 1 3/8" vintage duette definitely screams design... Click for details

This original vintage 1940's WW II souvenir pin is still on the original card. Made of Sterling Silver, this MINIATURE WINGS has a propeller and measures 1 1/2 inches across. Card says 'KEEP 'EM FLYING' and CADET. This came out of an old N.Y.C. Times Square souvenir store that sold these to the soldiers passing through during WW II. Original patina will polish up. Mint condition.

This beautiful signed CORO DUETTE pin combines enameled green leaves with goldtone flowers that have red rhinestone tipped pistils. The flowers come apart to convert into a pair of dress clips. A double row of clear rhinestones add some sparkle where the clips come together to form the pin. Pin measures 2-1/2 inches across by 1 1/4 inches high. One look at this original Victorian brooch and the word 'ethereal' comes to mind. It's hand-painted with a light, delicate touch. The porcelain background has a spray of periwinkle blue, white and pink flowers along the side and a cloud-like space to dream in. The porcelain is prong-mounted on a brass backing. This cute little whimsical costume piece is fun. It would be just great with a blue jean jacket or anything western for that matter. It features a fine stallion head bordered by two horse shoes. Dangling from it are three charms. One of a saddle, bronco busting cowboy and a pair of cowboy boots. It measures 2 1/4 in. across and 2 1/2 in. down the middle. It is in great shape and the gold finish is intact. This fine filly is galloping around in our ~Merry Menagerie~ Yee Haw!

Here's a great example of old 1930's genuine carved Bakelite in a color that's hard to find...black. This pin is heavily carved with thick-petaled roses in an openwork carved-through design.
