This is a really nice pair of Chanticleer Rooster Salt and Pepper shakers made by Shawnee Pottery. These shakers each measure 5 inches high. These are so adorable. Made of heavy china like the old cookie jars were made of. These little southern bells, have cork bottoms and measure 3 3/8" tall. Each wears a large bonnet, and has an umbrella that has a lustre finish. Hand painted features. Simply darling and are in perfect condition.

Produced in the same period that Gorham generated its legendary "Narragansett" line of silver, this pair of 2 5/8" diameter, 1" high, 2.2 T. oz. combined, open master salts portrays the same shells, seaweed, and other maritime motifs as that flagship design.
