I just love finding these old aluminum ice trays. They bring back such wonderful memories!! (Gasoline was 24 cents a gallon, life was slow, enjoyable and you could drink water from the faucet all day long!)
I always like to "try out" the ice trays, making sure they "crack" the ice out of them! THESE WORK GREAT and are truly relics from the GOOD OLD DAYS!! Bakelite Handled Meat Carving Fork

This unique 1940's meat fork is in excellent condition measuring 8 5/8" long from the Bakelite handle to the clean 2 1/2" wide tines. This meat fork was meant to hold meat while it was being carved. Bakelite handle is nice darker yellow with some swirling shows no chips, scratches, cracks, repairs or other damage. Finish is shiney. One tine shows a tiny, tiny spot where finish is gone. Vintage nut chopper from Androck. It stands about 5 inches tall and the glass base is about 3 ¼ inches in diameter. The bottom of the glass says Androck Made in USA. The black lid is metal and the crank handle is wood painted black. The chute where you put the nut in is decorated with a diamond pattern and inside of each diamond is a gold starburst. Offered today is a nice handpainted wood rack with five slots to accomodate those nice collectible utensils. It measures 15 7/8" long and 2 3/4" high and "shelf" w/slots is 2 1/2" deep. Condition is very good with no chips cracks, breaks or splinters. Slight wear to the finish and painting of Dutch windmills and barns featured on both ends. Wood has dark areas under slotted shelf.
