This silverware set is from the late 60s. Service for eight of dinner forks, salad forks, tea spoons, soup spoons (only seven), dinner knives and only four steak knives. Serving pieces: meat fork, serving fork, slicing knife, carving knife, four large spoons (2 slotted and 2 not), gravy spoon, sugar spoons, butter knife and pie server. Pewter-look finish. Large Durgin Sterling Tea Strainer with Wooden Handle

This tea strainer is 7 7/8" long overall. The sterling silver strainer portion is octagonal in shape with four larger and four smaller sides. It is 3 1/4" in diameter and has a 2" by 3/4" deep bowl. The handle is 3 3/4" long and is made of a deep brown, close to ebony, wood. It weighs 1.5 T. oz. total, of which some small portion would be the handle. Carvel Hall by Briddell Silver Overlay Meat Carving Set

This is a gorgeous meat carving trio marked Carvel Hall by Briddell, who is Chas. D. Briddell. It is called the Classic pattern, which is silver overlay on black, probably plastic. The ends, tines, and blades are stainless steel. They are a bit of tarnish on the designs. The meat fork is 10.5 inches long the smallest knife is 13 inches long and the largest carver is 14.5 inches long. The largest knife has a crack on the underside of the handle, the other 2 pieces are in good condition.
