This lamp is almost 25" in height. It is in sound condition with no warping to the body or harp. It needs a very thorough cleaning because some thoughtless person let a bit of paint spatter on the black and gold design. It appears to come off, but I am afraid I'll damage it, since not sure how to clean it. At some point, someone may have painted the brass area, but just not sure. This whale oil lamp is appx. 8 1/4" including the collar. It has a blown font and a blown standard. The font is attached with a 4 tier wafer and the standard with a double wafer. The pressed base is almost lacy. Unfortunately there is damage to the base. One side had a large piece that has broken and been glued in. At one corner there is a piece missing. Probably Sandwich, Ca 1830/40.

Vintage lamp measuring approximately 16" in height and the milk glass shade is 8" across the base. The brass finished metal hardware shows a small amount of age, but there is no rust. The wooden portion is intact with no nicks or splitting. This lamp was not used very much and has been packed away for years. This unusual old lamp has a metal base, figurine, and lamp posts that looks to be bronze. The figurine is a clown playing an accordian and looks as if he were marching. The lamp stands approx 11 1/4" high. The condition is fair. The clown's face which was originally painted has lost approx 1/3 of the paint. One of the shades is broken where it fits into the base and has a crack that runs to to top. Due to the design of the shade it is very hard to see the damage once it is inside the base.

This is an exceptional whale oil lamp with a blown font and pressed base. It's height is 9 3/4". The top is attached to the base with a triple wafer. This lamp is appx. 8 1/2", with a blown font with a stepped base ending in a square base with rounded extended corners. It is attached with quadruple wafer. These rounded corners may have been ground to remove chips. Otherwise it is in excellent condition with minimal chipping. Probably New England, ca 1830/40.

I have a fondness for these elegant lamps. I wonder how they have survived for 170 years. This one is 11 3/4" with a blown font and pressed stepped base. The font is partially frosted. It has small chips on the base and some inside the base. Possibly Sandwich, it dates from the first half of the 19th century.

The aluminum holder measures 6" across and when the globe is in place measures 7 1/2" in height. The globes are an etched floral design. One globe is damaged on the rim, and at one point I considered replacing them. I decided against it, since I believe these may be the original set (there is a faint greenish tint of older glass). These lamps are approximately 12 1/2 inches tall without the shades and 17 inches tall with the shade. The lamps are marked Aladdin on the bottom and include an etched social security number. The lamps have their original pink coloring that is worn in spots. I believe this pair is pre 1950.

We have several items in this lovely McCoy pattern named "Romance". This listing is for a candle lamp! The base is a pretty soft yellow color with “speckles” and has soft peach color flowers with green leaves. Measures 10 ¾” tall (bottom to top) and is in excellent condition. Very pretty!

This figural glass lamp was produced by L.E. Smith Company during the 1940's - 50's. The color was fired on over clear glass, giving the opaque blue finish. This style is the 'Ballerina' lamp. The base shows 2 dancers in classic ballet pose. I have 2 available, price is per lamp. All have been re-wired so they work fine. The shade clips on the light bulb. (Bulb not included, I recommend 25 or 40 watt bulbs so the glass doesn't get too hot.) All are in good shape.
