This is a magnificent cloisonne bowl. The pictures don't do it justice. It is very heavy and feels of real quality. The colors are a rich cobalt blue for the background, lighter blue, pink, lavender, orange, red, periwinkle, whites, browns and greys. This brass bank is canister shaped. It stands 3 1/2" tall to the top of the domed lid, and is 3" in diameter. The top lifts straight off and has a raised slot to drop coins in, and a hinge like attachment for securing with a lock. A United States wheat penny is soldered onto the lid, but since it shows only the backside, the date is not available.
