ANTIQUE 1800's PINCE NEZ LORGNETTE EYEGLASSES
Jewelry
Al's Past Treasures
E685 SOLD
From the 1800's is this pair of eyeglasses Pince Nez Lorgnette which means pinch nose glasses. They are 10k. gold framed with small padding in the nose area. They are however missing one lens as that side of the frame has separated. They came in this metal case with purple lining but I do not believe this is the original case for these glasses. And the case may have had a covering over the metal but that has either worn away or removed.

Iron Trivets w/ Tile Inserts, Bright Mushrooms, Japan
Kitchen: Gadgets
Mama's Collectibles
2441 $18.00 Pair
These were probably made during the early '70's when the mushroom craze was going strong...they remind me of the Sears Merry Mushroom pieces (also listed). These are unusually large, 12 1/4" x 8 1/2"; the tile insert is 6" x 6". There is some rust on the wrought iron but I did not repaint. I know some folks prefer "as is" to show the vintage look. Each trivet has 4 feet with rubber caps; one cap is missing. The tiles are excellent and marked JAPAN. Please send zip and I will figure shippin... Click for details
