Nice, solid WWII German single decal helmet. It is sometimes tough to tell, but this does look like a gold decal which would make it Kriegsmarine. Decal shows considerable wear but is undoubtable. Chinstrap is decent and liner is all there but has a signifcant tear in the rear. The shell is in general pretty nice. The lot number on the rear skirt is interesting as it has the rare addition of "DN". This is a seldom used abbreviation that indicates the helmet was made in Germany and not an occupie... Pre-or world war 1 French Cruciform bayonet with metal scabbard. (The pig sticker).
Not sure of exact year but dates 1886-1893 era. French Lebel Bayonet.
It has a black iron scabbard with a ball point end and solid brass grip. A very good condition cruciform (4 sided) sticker type blade. The blade is stamped MP near the base. There are no other markings on the blade that I can see. On the butt of the handle is stamped FN 18609. This is original and has the spring relaease that works perfect. ... Click for details

Very solid M40 German luftwaffe helmet. Very strong decal with only minor wear. Shell is in excellent condition with one crack on the rear skirt which may be battle damage (see pics). Liner shows wear but is solid and complete. Excellent chinstrap is marked "jhz" and dated 1942. Chinstrap is near perfect condition. Very nice helmet.

Excellent WKC aluminum luftwaffe sword with presentation reading "Die 5/801 Ihrem Batteriechef Hauptman Gabriel 26 Marz 1941". 5/801 refers to the actual unit number . The rest translates to "Our battery chief Captian Gabirel March 26, 1941". Some minor scratching as aluminum fittings are prone to. Leather hanger and scabbard show some wear; a bit heavier on the hanger but both still respectable. Handle is in excellent shape with only the lightest of wear to the leather grip. Very interesting Japanese table medal commemorating Naval Admiral Togo who was a national hero from the war with Russia. Gold finished medal has a raised portrait of the Admiral with all of his medals in good detail. The back shows a Japanese war ship in profile beneath a rising sun and a wreath of cherry blossoms and crysanthimums with nationalist and patriotic slogans. Nice quality and heavy medal. Measures 5.4cm and 3.2 ounces. Really neat item.

Really neat Japanese table medal. Measuring 5.4cm across and 0.5cm thick. Commemorating the China campaign (Also known as the China Incident). The front shows a Japanese infantryman charging through a battlefield. Rear shows a Japanese airplane flying over a map of China with a border made of bombs. Nice, deep toning with a copper finish still largely intact.

Chained NSKK Dagger Field Upgrade by Herder

An interesting chained NSKK dagger. Similar to other field upgrades it was period plated so fittings match, thus explaining why a plated crossguard has gau marks. Some minor plating thinning to the upper crossguard hints that this plating was done period. Handle has a nice, dark tone with no chipping and a nice, exact fit to both crossguards. This is the second of two enlisted pickelhaubes I picked up that have had a combat cover on them likely since the end of the war. This one also is close to mint on the outside right down to the finish on the fittings, but shows age and wear on the inside. Normally I would think the chin strap a replacement but I am not sure as the outside is in such perfect condition. Perhaps just to be safe I should call it a replacement chin strap. Beautiful pre WWI Prussian officer pickelhaube. The device on the eagle's chest indicates a Rhineland unit. With the exception of this device and the stars of the spike base all fittings are silver. The only damage on the outside is a leather chip on the front visor (See photos). Inside is nice as well with the skull cap lining still present. Excellent ersatz Prussian artillery pickelhaube. Shell is in excellent condition with no noticable damage. Prussian cockade shows very minor paint chipping. Chin strap and all metal fitting are in excellent condition. Top left of artillery ball does show some minor pitting, but still looks good. Some damage and loss to five of the tongue tips on the leather liner. There are issue markings on the rear visor but nothing legible besides a couple of random numbers.
