Rhineland Prussian Officer Pickelhaube Imperial German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$2200.00
Beautiful pre WWI Prussian officer pickelhaube. The device on the eagle's chest indicates a Rhineland unit. With the exception of this device and the stars of the spike base all fittings are silver. The only damage on the outside is a leather chip on the front visor (See photos). Inside is nice as well with the skull cap lining still present. The only problem inside is a small tear on the front of the silk lining which is mostly obscured by the leather sweatband anyway. Sweatband is also in exce... Click for details

Many of the officers of that unit had their daggers dedicated in honor of the ocassion which was an honor for the unit. It has been a long time since I have seen one but this one just fell out of the woodwork. Blade rates excellent with washer still inplace. Early handle fittings are patinat... Click for details

Prussian Pioneer Officer's Peaked Cap Imperial German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$295.00
Prussian officer's peaked cap. I believe the color scheme indicates a pioneer regiment. Excellent condition. One tiny opening (about 2mm) in the three bands of red piping. Some very minor paint loss to the cockades. Visor shows one very small area with two very small scuffs. The underside of the visor shows some light wear but as it is white everything is highlighted. Interior fabric is perfect. Thin leather sweatband shows wear and two small tears on the rear less then 1 cm each. Highlighting a... Click for details

Scarce WWII German SSK 90 Aircrew Flight Helmet
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$2890.00
Extremely scarce SSK 90 flight crew helmet by Siemens. These helmets saw only brief official service in 1941 but continued to be used unofficially on a small scale. Use was discontinued as the helmet is quite heavy, being reinforced steel plates. Originally it was thought in the collecting community that these were strictly for jet pilots. While this use may hve been possible, it was not on any offical basis. At any rate, this is an extremely scarce helmet. Condition is excellent. Leather shows ... Click for details
