WWI German Trench Art / Souvenir Letter Opener
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$49
I am not sure if this falls under the category of "trench art" or if it is more of a war souvenir but it is cool nonetheless. This is a letter opener with a 1914 miniature iron cross riveted on. I am not sure if this is ivory, horn or something else but I don't see any ivory grain. There is a notch to catch and tear the envelope when opening it. Small metal piece on top acts as a paper clip holding a piece of paper so I guess this could also be used as a bookmark. 10cm overall length. Just a cu... Click for details

Ghetto Gemeinde Armband (Authentic) - WWII German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$995
This item is related to one of the saddest chapters in our history and is offered with the thought that preservation and recognition are vital to remembering the past. "Those who ignore the past are doomed to repeat it". There are innumerable fake representations of such armbands but this is guaranteed authentic. Ghetto Gemeinde was the self governing council installed to regulate the day to day life inside of the nazi established ghettos of Poland. Real examples are very hard to find as those w... Political Leader Blet Buckle - WWII German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$125
Extremely nice condition on this political leader belt buckle. RZM M4/24 Friedrich Linden, Ludenscheid (FLL). Very little wear to the gilt on the high relief of eagle, on back of edge and rear area around the catch. Overall gold gilt is in really super shape. Very nice quality buckle.

Panzer Man's Wehrmacht Issue Drivers License - WWII
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$105
Very cool panzer man's drivers license. Issued in 1944 with stamps matching unit designations on the document. Very cool uniform photo. Feels like a fine, rubberized fabric which I guess is meant to make it resistant in field conditions and also allow it to be folded in the fellow's pockets. Really neat late war panzer related item.

Steel WWII Army Belt Buckle w Tab-Superb Condition Heer
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$215
This belt buckle with tab is just a real screamer. 95% plus original paint with the only significant area of paint loss is on the bottom edge where one would expect it to rub on the belt when being worn. There are a few tiny spots on the high relief of the front but these are minimal. Tab is maker marked and dated 1940. Leather is soft and supple and stitching is fine. Top notch example of a cool combat type buckle.

SA Honor Dagger Later RZM Configuration - WWII German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$6319
Nice, honest example of a later SA Honor dagger. While the early damascus type is certainly prettier, this plain blade RZM version is actually far scarcer as Victor Lutze was well known to give these only to high ranking and notable personalities while Ernst Rohm was quite liberal in giving out Honor Daggers. This is a nice, honest example. Crossguards are embellished with oakleaves and the lower is internally marked H. The nut is made special for this piece with a funnel shaped bottom. Crossgua... Early SA Dagger by C Linder - Rare Maker - WWII German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$864
SA dagger by C LINDER SOLINGEN MERSCHEID. This is a very rare maker and difficult to find. Of note on this example is the blackening to both motto and maker name which is shockingly intact. Blade is excellent throughout with cross graining present along with the usual runner marks. Signs of normal use throughout (See photos) but nothing is broken and no chips to handle. A couple of light taps on the lower crossgaurd and lower scabbard fitting. Ball is largely intact but also shows somenicks and ... Click for details

Japanese Naval Sword - Gendai by Hattori Hiromasa
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
Sold, Thank You
Very nice WWII Japanese gendaito. This is signed by Hattori Hiromasa who is listed on page 99 of John Slough's oshigata book which I do offer for sale separately. Blade is in very clean with a nice active temper. Mounts are all early quality and very nice except the habaki finish which shows wear. The scabbard is very nice same material. There is one small spot on each side where it looks like something got on the same (Ninth photo); I suspect this could be cleaned off but as a rule I do not cle... Click for details
