Spanish Blue Division Hat and Badge Grouping WWII
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$398
Very cool overseas or side hat, badge and belt buckle combination for a sergeant of the Spanish Blue Division. While Franco managed to hold Spain out of WWII it was allowed for a volunteer division to be sent to the eastern front. While Franco's goal was to avoid plunging Spain into the maelstrom of war, allowing this volunteer division to be formed was more then likely a way to get the hot heads out of the country. At any rate, this is a nice set of scarce items. All original WWII vintage. The ... Click for details

Stag Grip Police Bayonet w Matching Numbers WWII German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$619
Excellent, untouched police bayonet with matching numbers. SD. Vi. 132. Blade is in excellent shape with minor spotting here and there and no sharpening. Marked by E.&F. Horster Solingen. Handle is nice and tight with stag grips and police inset being undamaged. Obverse top of eagle's head shows light thinning to the nickel finish where it apparantly rubbed on the uniform or something. Back of eagle's head has an area that shows tap marks and you can almost see the police officer tapping nails t... Click for details

Masonic WWI Silver Medal Named and Numbered R Gaunt
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$139
Very attractive WWI Masonic medal. Numbered 1894 and named to Bro E.M. Price. Pin catch is maker marked R Gaunt London. The Gaunt firm is well known for quality manufacturing and this medal is no exception. Nice and thick and heavy, this is a solid and well made medal. As with most Masonic items it is covered with symbology that I will not try to decipher. The front has the dates 1914 and 1918 which obviously represent WWI. The pin catch is a little bent and I will leave it as is. Ribbon has som... Click for details

NSFK Canteen With Marked and Dated Hanger WWII German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$209
Nice example. WWII German canteen I believe to be NSFK. No mothing on the wool. Leather is strong with only normal age wear (See photos). Cap is marked "O.H.W. 39". Leather hanger is marked "RICHARD EHRHARDT POESSNECK 1937" with the last small bit obscured by a scuff. I believe there may be a D ring missing from canteen to hook on to lower clip of hanger. Still a very nice example.

Civil War M1850 Navy Officer Sword by Ames Named
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$1999
Named Civil War M1850 navy officer's sword by Ames. The fellow's name is A. Nelson (Engraved on scabbard throat fitting) and there are two possibilities. Aaron H Nelson was an Acting Assistant Paymaster July 7, 1863 to March 28, 1865, Assistant Paymaster February 21 1867 and resigned December 14,1871. Andrew Nelson was an Acting Ensign July 2, 1863 until his honorable discharge on October 28,1865. The sword itself is a nice, solid example of Ames production. Blade is engraved "Ames Mfg. Co. Luftwaffe Four Pocket Tunic Well Marked WWII German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$1160
Reasonable example of a getting-hard-to-find four pocket luftwaffe tunic. First the negatives: Has an area of mothing on the inside of each fly. Under wearer's left upper pocket there is a repair (Period repair-doesn't glow). Two of the gulls on left tab are missing one prong each. On the brighter side, it is a decent tunic that shows well as none of the damage is visible on the outside when on display. Left sleeve has rank chevrons. All stitching is period done and unmessed with. Good looking l... Click for details

Artillery Colonel Walking Out Tunic WWII German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$1217
I like this tunic as it really tells its own story. It is a brown walking out type tunic. In the close up of the medal bar the pocket flap is pulled up to show the fabric underneath, showing the age toning of the outside of the tunic. The 8 space ribbon bar shows a combination of Imperial and Third Reich medals including army long service, Eastern front 1941 and WWI iron cross with 1939 spange. There are medal loops below the ribbon bar; It looks like an Iron Cross 1st Class is missing but the W... Click for details

Antifaschistische Aktion Belt Buckle Pre WWII German
Militaria
Brandywine Militaria
$399
Very interesting Antifaschistische Aktion belt buckle. Looks to be made from a heavy, early defaced German belt buckle; Likely either an SA or WWI example. The groups emblem on top is about the size of a penny. On the bottom half of the buckle is the profile bust of what looks like a communist officer. The solder job is old so there is a bit of looseness and a little wiggle to the emblem. The group was forcefully dissolved by the nazis in 1933 but apparantly was revived in the 1980's. Very inter...
