This original circa late 1880's medal is from the Woman's Relief Corps, a post Civil War group who worked through local chapters to relieve the sufferings of disabled veterans, war widows, and orphans. In the North it functioned as an auxiliary of the Grand Army of the Republic. These groups helped with cemetery maintenance and the erection of war memorials. Lidded Military silver presentation bowl. 10 5/8" dia and 7" tall with lid. I bought it from an estate where the lady having it said the person who had died was a retired Air Force doctor. There is a FB Rogers stamp on bottom. The set also contains a Fitted Pyrex liner. On the bottom is an inscription that says, "Best Wishes USAF Dispensary, Vance Air Force Base, Okla." December 1952 photograph of General Supply & Storage-R'cv Section Whse 102 Anniston Ordnance Depot is at the bottom of the photograph as well as the name of the photography studio. It measures 25 inches by 9 inches. It appears to be in the original frame. The glass and frame are without damage. This old circa WW II spoon is enamel and silverplate...a souvenir of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Top of spoon features a flying bird, a crown and the motto...PER ARDVA AD ASTRA which means...Through Struggles to the Stars. Spoon measures 4 1/2 inches long and is in excellent condition.

This is a German WW11 Water Canteen with an aluminum cup. The canteen is in very good condition. The cover is soiled, but there are no tears or holes in it. The leather is in good condition except where it buckles. It is marked GNL 37.

Nice old military sheet music by Lawrence Mansfield Matt. National Guard New York. Photo of a highly decorated officer on the cover with the name "Hall". This was a dedication to the 22nd regiment. Cover artist Starmer. Pages seperated, and one small tear at the top, but basically in very good condition.No stains, writing or discoloration. (Corner darkness is a shadow ) Over sized, and would be great framed for someone who collected military items.

Great oversized militarty music by Lieutenant Gitz Rice, and words by Harold Robe. WWI Military, Music sung by John McCormack at all his engagements.Large full body photo of Lt. Gitz Rice, signed on the cover. Great clean condition. 2 corners slightly bent, and one very small tear on the spine. Nice clean crisp condition for music of this age. Photo shows a shadow, that is not discoloring on the cover.

This old and original 1940's Sterling Silver pin is a WW II era souvenir, sold to soldiers passing through Times Square (where we bought these from the retiring store owner circa 1970). In the center of the wheel is an enameled stars and stripes emblem with anchors. We assume this is a NAVY insignia though it might be Coast Guard. Pin measures 1 5/8 inches, hanging with bow, and is still in the original box. Overall in perfect condition.

Oval serving bowl measuring approximately 11 3/4" in length and 9" in width. Dated 11/25/40. No chips, cracks or breaks but considerable wear as well as a couple of tiny pits.
