This is a very well done hand thrown pottery goblet or chalice. It is very tall for a piece of stemware of this type and quite difficult to make. Only a master potter could do one of these this well. It is signed by the potter and dated 1975. I can't make out the signature enough to say what it is. It is 7.25 inches tall and 3 and 3/8 inches across the rim. It is in very good condition, no cracks and chips.

Vintage set of cocktail forks with container. The container is ivory in color and is plastic but made to look like carved ivory with a lattice and roses pattern. It is approx. 5" tall and 2 1/2" across. It includes 16 little forks - approx. 3 1/4" long. On the bottom of the container it says "Made in Hong Kong". No cracks or chips. This item has nice detail and is in good vintage condition.

This vintage tray and coaster set is fantastic! Under the glass tops, each bamboo coaster has real butterfly wings (bodies are not real) and dyed ferns over a lace background. The tray is also made of bamboo, with a lacey background, beautiful pressed butterfly wings and colorful foliage under the glass. Tray diameter: 11". Coaster diameters: 3.5" Excellent condition!

Antique blown glass topette from an old French bar holding three doses or portions. Each ring represented a dose, or one drink, of absinthe, which was diluted with water, often poured over a sugar cube, before drinking. The bar patron was charged for however many doses he or she consumed. This topette was hand blown in heavy lead glass and has a nice partially polished pontil on the bottom. Rare antique glass from a French bar used to serve absinthe. This style is known as an East glass because it was supposedly used in the East of France, in areas around Lyon. This is a heavy, hand-blown glass with a polished pontil. It has a dose mark marking the level to which it was filled with absinthe. Water was added to the liquor, making a cloudy drink. This is an extremely rare absinthe era spoon holder or "tronc" from a French bar. It is very heavy, weighted so that it does not tip over when someone takes out a spoon. It is in good used condition, showing signs of many years of use but still exhibiting lots of character. I am illustrating it alone and with absinthe spoons in it -- the spoons are not included. This is a lovely enamel on metal tray.
Cherry Blossoms with snow capped mountain in the background. The blue & pink are so pretty. I do not know the age of this.
7 inch by 4 1/2 inches.
There is a tiny tiny chip on edge of the tray. On the lower left. (barely noticable) Weighs 8 oz. Such beautiful irridescent enamel.
