This is a very nice Homer Laughlin decorative plate commemorating the 95th anniversary of the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church in Corsicana, Texas. The dates on the plate are 1868 to 1963. The church, still in existence, is now 136 years old.

This is a very nice children's book about Mr. Owl at home. He makes a big mistake when he invites winter into his home to get out of the cold! In another chapter, Mr. Owl makes tear-water tea.

This is a nice, draw-string purse. It is woven out of some type of nylon fabric that is not apparent until you feel the tassels at the end of the purse handles. There are no tags, so this item may be homemade. The pattern is made by the white fabric being interwoven with the navy blue.

I absolutely love this old glass piece. It is a black, odd-shaped plate or dish. The background shows the King of Diamonds and to the front is the Queen of Hearts. The two "cards" are arranged to appear the the Queen is stacked on top of the King.
