Here is an adorable pair of Commodore Japan candle holders. One of the holders has the commodore Japan sticker on the bottom. They are about 3 3/4" across and about 1 1/4" high. They have gold trim and roses around them. There are a couple of rose petals that have little tick bites, but are difficult to see without looking for them. This finely crafted small porcelain basket was made in England by Carlton Ware. It bears the mark that dates the piece between 1929 and 1972. I am not sure of the pattern but it has the same outside base deep reddish color and glaze as Rouge Royale. This lovely Bowl is stamped with the Red Star and Wreath mark and also #19 on the bottom. This piece dates circa 1900 to 1920. It measures 10 1/8" wide and is 3" tall. There is some minor wear on the washed Gold around the rim but the dainty pink roses and green leaves and coloring are just superb. The overall condition appears to be excellent with no chips or cracks on this 80+ year old bowl. A very lovely piece of vintage R.S. Prussia porcelain.
