Featured for your enjoyment is a wonderful little set. I do believe this is a trinket box with two matching pin dishes. It is made of a heavy porcelain and covered with tiny roses and a bow in pinks and blues. Tiny green leaves accent it all. The box and dishes are a stippled texture over the entire body, front and back. The lid has been repaired, very hard to notice from the top, shown from the bottom. Featured for your enjoyment is a lovely old trinket and matching pin dish. This hand painted set still has the original Ucagco tags on both. Dating these tags is hard but I do believe this is from the late 30’s. It is trimmed in gold with some wear. The pin dish does have a tiny chip on the side. The trinket box has no chips or cracks. It stands on 3 tiny feet. Trinket dish is 1 7/8” tall with lid by 5 1/2” wide and 4 3/8” across. Pin dish is 3 1/2” long by 2 1/2” wide.

Featured for your enjoyment is a great old porcelain cup from Karlsbad, caverns I assume. In German in small print it is advertising the mineral water from Karlsbad. It reads; Karlsbad Der Neu Sprudel. It is dated in gold 1925. Excellent transfer picture on the front. Near mint condition. Stands 4 3/4” tall by 4” across the handle.

This pig was made by Royal Copenhagen artist Erik Nielson. The pig is in a seated position. It measures 5 1/4" long and stands 2 1/2" high. Its head is turned slightly, and its ears are flopped forward. It is primarily white gloss in finish, with blue eyes and a pink snout and hoofs. It is marked Denmark and has the crown over 3 wavy lines. The initials NG are next to the mark - I assume these are the artist's signature. It measures 4 1/2 in. tall and the body tapers off to a 1 5/8 in. opening, perfect for a small bouquet. It has the crown AK mark on the bottom, and is numbered # 310. The hand painted flower and line pattern is highlighted with gold work on the rim and in the flower centers. It is marked in a circle, hand painted Japan and I believe that is the bibi mark inside. It is in near mint condition. Stands just over 2” tall by 6 1/2” wide.

It is in excellent condition, nice high gloss glaze with baby chick (which is finished in a matte glaze) and 1978 in relief.
