This is the bottom only to a vintage vanity or jewelry casket. The bottom is stamped in blue with 7696. It measures 6 x 4 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches. Hand decorated Porcelain vase, made pre-war in Japan, is being offered for sale. Marking for Japan is made into the bottom of the porcelain. It is a smooth creamy color, with gold throughout. The scene on the front, within the gold circle, feels rough to the touch. Almost as if it were lightly sanded. No chips or cracks. Would be in pristine condition, except some of the gold has rubbed off the bottom left side of the circle. Vase is 6 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" round.

Decorated in lots of pinks and gold, this gorgeous Japanese vase has blues, yellows and burnt-orange colors. It stands 10 1/2" tall. The largest part of the vase body is 14" around. The neck is 8" round with a mouth opening of 3 1/2". Around the bottom of the vase, there is a 1" strip that is painted burnt-orange with lots of gold. The paper label is still attached to the bottom, but there was another label that was removed. Probably was the maker label.
