Here's a very nice pair of vintage pottery planters with a Dutch boy leaning against a picket fence, and a Dutch girl with hands on her hips. These are unmarked, but I have found out that they were made by McMaster Pottery of Hamilton, a Canadian pottery. The white clay indicates they are earlier pieces.
The planters measures approx. 3 3/4 by 3 1/2 by 6 1/4 inches tall.
There are no chips or cracks, and the coloring is vivid and bright. They are excellent!!
Cute old vintage pig planter or would even hold toothpicks or make a nice pincushion. Maybe is one of the three little pigs, and if you would fill it with toothpicks it would be the pig with his bundle of sticks. :) The basket area is 1 3/4 tall so is perfect for toothpicks. He even looks like Porky Pig. Probably from the 30's. Measures almost 5" tall. It is in perfect condition. No makers mark on the bottom or sticker
This is a gorgeous Madonna/Virgin Mary in Prayer planter. Stands just over 7" tall. No marks but probably made in Japan. She has some light crazing, 2 air bubbles from the glazing process and a hairline fracture on the rear planter. The fracture does go all the way thru but not around. Can barely feel it with your finger nail.
Vintage Duckling on Wheels, smart blue hat, gas giraffe and baby rattle decoration. This piece is numbered C-7245 on the bottom, may be Inarco. Excellent condition, has a brown stain on the inside in the chest of the duck, may be old glue from days gone by. Stands 7" x 6 1/2 long. Gorgeous.
Rubens Baby Boy Planter. He has some paint damage which is easily repairable, the redish color by his lips is paint from the ball glove in his hands. No other damage.
Pristine R/B Planter, spells out BABY, little teddybear, kitten and bunny peeking out of the letters. 2 small flea bites and a small manufacturer flaw on top of the Y. 3" x 3 1/2 x 8" long.
THis nice green drip bowl has a nice flared oval shape. Marked USA P-12. The P may mean it was intended as a planter. No chips or cracks. Measures 9 1/2" long and 6 1/4" wide. It is 3" in depth, and in great condition!
A great Robinson Ransbottom ivory planter. Clearly marked on the bottom. 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 x 3 1/2. There are a few manufacturer blemishes and a tiny flea bite on the outside, some small bites on the bottom rim.
Older planter is made of ceramic and hand painted with a soft glaze. Measures about 7" tall. Opening in the back for your favorite Easter flowers. Very nice condition with a tiny glaze flake under one ear. Actually have 2 of these the other has a tiny fleck off of an ear also. Price is for each or $20.00 for the pair.
A wonderful Royal Copley coach Planter, almond color. 6" long, 3" wide, 3 1/4 tall. Has some crazing going on but it does add to the character of this piece. Great condition.
A very striking piece of pottery. Signed Louve'. Which means it is probably French. Measures about 4 1/2" tall. It has the prettiest turquoise mirror drip glaze. I thought it may have been a flower pot, but there is no hole in the bottom. Perfect condition. Pictures do not do justice to the color on this vase/pot.
One of the nicest Goldammer ceramic nursery planters I've seen. Measures almost 5" tall and has the original sticker, Goldammer Ceramics San Francisco.Hand painted details. Actually is a darker pink than photo shows. Probably 1950's era. Predominatley pink, this girl baby is a planter or flower pot. A timeless treasure that would again make a wonderful gift for the new parents of a baby girl. Pristine condition.
