McCoy's Butterfly Line is definitely one of their prettiest pottery lines -- this listing has the large fernery planter!
Planter is a soft matte blue color. It measures 3 1/4" tall, 8 1/4" long, and 3 1/2" wide. It was early from the mold and the butterfly design is clear and distinct.
It is in wonderful condition. Planter has a 1/2" rough place at the bottom of one end -- it appears to be production -- it looks and feels a little rough at the top of it but the bottom has color and... Click for details
This listing has a very nice McCoy hanging planter that was produced in the 1930s!
The design is leaves and berries and the color is matte white. Planter measures 6 1/4” diameter and 4 3/4” tall, has 3 production holes for hanging and also has 3 little “feet” so it could also be used as a free standing planter.
It is in very good condition for its age and for having been actually used as intended! It has a faint stain line along inner upper edge and normal age crazing.... Click for details
This is a beautiful item from McCoy's Starburst Line of 1968! It is the footed planter/flower arranger and is white with black "starbursts". Planter is marked on bottom: MCP, 12, USA, (Mt. Clemens Pitcher Mark), 1968. Planter is in excellent condition -- no chips, no cracks, no crazing -- looks new and unused!
Made in 1948, this McCoy planter is shaped like 2 little ducklings with their newly vacated egg homes! Planter is in a very pretty yellow color with a shiny over-glaze. It is marked on bottom: McCoy (on one egg) and Made in USA (on other egg).
Planter has been well cared for; however, the "bridge" that joins the 2 shells together has a very fine stress mark (like a pencil mark) that I would surmise is production. One little duck has couple crazing marks on his head and egg rim has... Click for details
This is a beautiful planter from McCoy's Corinthian Line!
It measures 9 1/4" long, 3 3/4" tall, and 4" wide. Planter is in a beautiful matte white color and is marked on bottom: 2003, USA.
Planter has some small dark spots on interior bottom that appear to be production as they are under the glaze. Upper rim edge has 1 super small place that could be a "ding" but that I honestly believe to be a production glaze skip. There is a very small "ding" on one of the diamond designs --... This McCoy item is so pretty -- it's a square shaped centerpiece that has a "bridge" across the middle with a hole in the center to hold a candle!
It's a pretty gray color with green all around the edges and has shiny over-glaze. The "bridge" is also green and has very decorative in-mold leaves.
It is in wonderful condition -- has a production non-glaze spot on inside bottom and another on rim edge. It also has a place on one corner that at first glance appears to be a chip/ding.... Click for details
This listing has a set of two identical matte white McCoy planters!
These are the 8" planters and are marked McCoy on bottom.
Both planters appear to have never been used -- they have no "use" evidence but one does have a few typical McFlaws. It has a 1/4" manufacturing stress on inside edge and one that is about 1/8" also on inside edge. The other planter is perfect.
These are beautiful planters and would be excellent additions to a collection!
This listing has a very pretty McCoy planter from the Antique Curio Line! This is the pedestal type planter, measures 5" X 4" and is in the rather difficult to find green color. Marked on bottom: McCoy, USA. Planter is in excellent condition -- no chips, no cracks, only very light crazing!
Please note: this planter has a very shiny clear over-glaze. Any places that appear to be damage/white color are from our camera flash or light reflection -- absolutely not damage!
